# Corrected V1 and V2: full day and every task

All clock times below are **14 May 2030, UTC**. These are proposed allocations for Rowan, not execution records. Inputs: [complete case](./case-input.en.md) and [U1](./change-input.en.txt). A task's block duration is its unchanged accepted estimate; free rows are deliberately unallocated, not hidden work or a guarantee of spare time in practice.

### V1 task disposition

| Task ID | Scheduled min | Unscheduled min | Disposition |
| --- | ---: | ---: | --- |
| T01 | 45 | 0 | Scheduled 09:00–09:45; finishes before 11:00 |
| T02 | 75 | 0 | Scheduled 10:30–11:45; T01 precedes it; finishes before 14:30 |
| T03 | 90 | 0 | Scheduled in one permitted 90-minute block |
| T04 | 60 | 0 | Scheduled in one continuous block |
| T05 | 0 | 90 | No continuous 90-minute slot after higher-priority reservations; retain for a new decision |
| T06 | 30 | 0 | Its 30-minute block fits where T05's 90-minute block cannot |
| T07 | 0 | 60 | No continuous 60-minute slot remains; next-day deadline does not create a tomorrow booking |

V1 arithmetic: 480-minute window − (30 + 45 + 30 + 15) fixed = **360 available task minutes**. Demand is 45 + 75 + 90 + 60 + 90 + 30 + 60 = **450 minutes**. Tasks receive 45 + 75 + 90 + 60 + 30 = **300 minutes**. Four 15-minute gaps total **60 minutes**. Thus 120 fixed + 300 task + 60 unallocated = 480, and 300 scheduled + 150 unscheduled = 450.

The demand exceeds capacity by 90 minutes even before considering block shape. The actual unscheduled total is 150 minutes because the remaining 60 minutes are four separate 15-minute gaps. They cannot satisfy either unsplittable task. T05 is considered before T06; its higher priority does not make its 90 minutes fit. No deadline is moved or silently waived: T05 remains due today and unallocated, requiring Rowan to resolve the shortfall.

## V2: the complete replacement after U1

F05 is added at 13:00–14:00. The update arrives at 08:45, so the whole day is still a plan. Original fixed blocks remain at their original times.

| Block ID | Start (UTC) | End (UTC) | Minutes | Entry |
| --- | --- | --- | ---: | --- |
| T01 | 09:00 | 09:45 | 45 | Inspect sample dataset |
| G01 | 09:45 | 10:00 | 15 | Unallocated |
| F01 | 10:00 | 10:30 | 30 | Team coordination meeting |
| T02 | 10:30 | 11:45 | 75 | Draft review note, after T01 |
| G02 | 11:45 | 12:00 | 15 | Unallocated |
| F02 | 12:00 | 12:45 | 45 | Lunch |
| G03 | 12:45 | 13:00 | 15 | Unallocated; too short for a T03 chunk |
| F05 | 13:00 | 14:00 | 60 | New equipment walkthrough |
| T03a | 14:00 | 14:30 | 30 | First handoff-checklist block |
| F03 | 14:30 | 15:00 | 30 | Project review meeting |
| F04 | 15:00 | 15:15 | 15 | Break |
| T03b | 15:15 | 16:15 | 60 | Second handoff-checklist block |
| T06 | 16:15 | 16:45 | 30 | Archive reference snippets |
| G04 | 16:45 | 17:00 | 15 | Unallocated |

### V2 task disposition

| Task ID | Scheduled min | Unscheduled min | Disposition |
| --- | ---: | ---: | --- |
| T01 | 45 | 0 | Same proposed block; not marked complete |
| T02 | 75 | 0 | Same proposed block and dependency; not marked complete |
| T03 | 90 | 0 | Now 30 + 60 minutes in two permitted blocks; both at least 30 |
| T04 | 0 | 60 | Displaced: after T03, the latest continuous free slot is only 45 minutes, 16:15–17:00 |
| T05 | 0 | 90 | Still no continuous 90-minute slot after higher-priority reservations |
| T06 | 30 | 0 | Same 16:15–16:45 allocation after T04 and T05 cannot fit |
| T07 | 0 | 60 | Still no continuous 60-minute slot; not automatically carried to a booked time tomorrow |

V2 arithmetic: 480 − (120 original fixed + 60 new fixed) = **300 available task minutes**. Demand stays **450**. Allocations are 45 + 75 + (30 + 60) + 30 = **240 minutes**, with **60 unallocated**. Thus 180 fixed + 240 task + 60 unallocated = 480, and 240 scheduled + 210 unscheduled = 450. Demand now exceeds capacity by 150 minutes; block constraints leave another 60 minutes unused.

### What changed, and what still needs a decision

| Item | V1 → V2 |
| --- | --- |
| Fixed commitments | F01–F04 unchanged; add F05 13:00–14:00 |
| T01 and T02 | Same allocations and unchanged deadlines/dependency |
| T03 | Replace 12:45–14:15 with 14:00–14:30 and 15:15–16:15; preserve all 90 minutes |
| T04 | Remove its 15:15–16:15 allocation; retain 60 minutes explicitly unscheduled |
| T05, T06, T07 | T05/T07 remain unscheduled; T06 retains its allocation |
| Unallocated time | Move the 14:15–14:30 gap to 12:45–13:00; other gaps unchanged |
| Totals | Task capacity −60; scheduled task time −60; unscheduled demand +60; no completed work recorded |

T04 and T05 are still due on 14 May. Rowan needs to choose a scope, priority or deadline change, or obtain an explicit agreement to move that work. This packet makes none of those decisions. If either estimate proves wrong in practice, record what actually happened and replan from that evidence; the mathematical fit does not promise completion.
