# Exhibition card checks — complete fictional source definitions

Original teaching case EXHIBIT-CARDS-01. The four batches and every count were authored for this case. There is no real exhibition, customer, worker performance, financial value or recorded model run. The 2030 date is a fictional snapshot label, not a publication date or actual data-collection event.

The reader needs to compare the number of checked and remaining exhibition information cards in each batch at **2030-06-12 14:00 UTC**.

- One row is one complete batch at that single snapshot. The unit is cards.
- E01–E04 are disjoint batches, in catalogue order. A card belongs to exactly one batch; do not merge, omit, reorder or deduplicate rows.
- `total_cards` includes checked cards. `checked_cards` counts cards whose text has been checked. Checking is not approval for publication or evidence of visitor understanding.
- Every card is either checked or remaining at this snapshot. These states are mutually exclusive and exhaustive. `remaining_cards = total_cards - checked_cards`.
- The checked share is `checked_cards / total_cards`, not `checked_cards / (checked_cards + total_cards)`. All four supplied totals are positive. A future zero total would have an undefined share, not an automatic 0%.
- Counts are nonnegative integers and checked cannot exceed total. The explicit zero for Machines is known zero checked, not missing data; Night is fully checked.
- Summing counts across these disjoint batches is valid. Any overall share uses the summed numerator and denominator; do not average batch percentages.
- The chart compares counts, not percentages or people. Use one horizontal count axis from 0 to 32, with ticks at 0, 8, 16, 24 and 32, for both wrong and repaired teaching figures. Two stacked series in the repaired chart are Checked and Remaining.
- Keep the same catalogue order E01 through E04 from top to bottom. Preserve the raw CSV; derived values belong in a separate file.
- Show every batch, unit, snapshot and exact state counts. Distinguish states with text and light/dark fills, not colour alone. Give the complete data table and a text alternative alongside the chart.

The chart is a static SVG with a PNG preview. It is not a native Excel chart and establishes no office-application compatibility or accessibility certification.
