REVIEW-01: complete fictional self-assessment packet
Original fictional teaching materials. Rowan, Mira, Nico, the team, projects, records, feedback, first-person reflections and all 2030–2031 dates below are invented. No real employee file, private work record, customer material or performance result is represented. The packet supplies a writing exercise, not a rating, promotion, compensation or employment decision. The quoted reflection is authored input, not a recording or a model's inference.
F1 — complete form and scope
Writer: Rowan, a documentation coordinator in the fictional Mosswood team. Reader: Mira, the team's coordinator, for a discussion of Rowan's work and development. Review period: 1 January–31 March 2031. Evidence cutoff: 31 March 2031, 16:00 UTC. These are case dates, not publication dates.
The entire form has four questions. Answer all four in the first person. Use the agreed goals below; do not replace them with easier goals or select only successes. Distinguish individual contribution, team work, observed results, limits and Rowan's supplied interpretation. The form requests no score, rank or recommendation about employment outcomes.
Q1. What did you deliver against each agreed goal during this period? Describe the result and any limit on what it demonstrates.
Q2. What was your own contribution when you worked with others? Give one example and describe the strength you brought.
Q3. What did not go as planned? What did you learn from it?
Q4. What will you change or develop next period, and what support or clarification do you want?
G1–G3 — complete goals agreed at the start of the period
These three goals were recorded on 5 January 2031. No later goal change, deadline extension or replacement agreement is supplied.
G1 — Atlas reference cards. Write a set of six reference cards and deliver the complete set to Mira for acceptance by 28 February 2031. Mira owns acceptance and distribution. Rowan owns drafting and responding to the review. No target for time saved, usage or error reduction was agreed.
G2 — Peer-review sessions. Facilitate three peer-review sessions, each with a written summary, by 31 March 2031. Preparing the examples for each session is part of Rowan's responsibility. This is a count within the stated review period, not a lifetime count of sessions.
G3 — Beacon naming guide contribution. Review four label definitions and supply four worked examples to the guide owner by 14 March 2031. Mira owns the Beacon project and release. Rowan contributes definitions and examples, not project leadership, layout ownership or a rollout result.
W1–W9 — complete work and feedback records used in this exercise
The statements below are the full records, not extracts from undisclosed files. Their labels identify the authored sources; they do not establish a real service or software run.
W1 — 31 January 2031, Rowan's Atlas draft record. Rowan wrote all six Atlas cards in draft v1. The draft was sent to Mira for review. This is a draft record, not acceptance or evidence that readers used it.
W2 — 26 February 2031, Mira's Atlas acceptance note. I received the complete six-card v2 set from Rowan today. Rowan incorporated the requested wording changes. I accept this set against G1. I will put it in the team library. This acceptance does not report reader usage, search time or error rates.
W3 — 27 February 2031, Mira's distribution note. I placed the accepted Atlas v2 set in the agreed team library today. No usage observations, timing comparison or error-rate measurement is supplied in this packet. Publication of the files in the library is not a measurement of their effect.
W4 — 31 March 2031, peer-review session register at the cutoff. Rowan facilitated sessions on 18 February and 18 March 2031 and wrote their summaries on 19 February and 19 March respectively. Nico and other participants supplied comments during those sessions. These are the two completed sessions in the current period; the register reports no third completed session.
W5 — 20 March 2031, preparation commitment. For a proposed third session on 27 March, Rowan agreed to supply the example packet by 24 March 2031, 12:00 UTC. This preparation commitment does not confirm that the packet or session was completed.
W6 — 31 March 2031, record of Mira and Rowan's 26 March deferral. Rowan had not supplied the examples by the agreed preparation deadline. With the examples still not ready, Mira and Rowan agreed not to hold the proposed 27 March session. No replacement session date or extension of G2 was agreed by the cutoff. G2 remains a three-session goal due on 31 March.
W7 — 14 March 2031, Beacon contribution record. Rowan reviewed four label definitions and delivered four worked examples to Mira today. Mira incorporated the agreed definitions and examples in the guide draft. This records Rowan's contribution against G3, not authorship of the whole guide.
W8 — 21 March 2031, Beacon release and role record. Mira owned and released the Beacon naming guide. Nico assembled its layout. Rowan's role remained the four reviewed definitions and four examples in W7. The Beacon layout is not an Atlas card deliverable. No team-wide adoption, speed or accuracy measurement is supplied.
W9 — 25 March 2031, Mira's feedback to Rowan. Your four Beacon examples made ambiguous label choices visible during our guide review. That gave us concrete cases to discuss before I released the guide. This is feedback about that review, not evidence of a measured change in all users' work or a claim about Atlas.
X1 — supplied background outside the review period
X1 — 18 December 2030, earlier review note. Rowan facilitated one discussion of the separate Pine handout and wrote its summary. It belongs to the previous period, is not an Atlas or Beacon event, and cannot count as a third G2 session in January–March 2031.
U1–U4 — Rowan's complete supplied reflection and intentions
These first-person paragraphs were supplied as fictional writer input on 30 March 2031. They state Rowan's own interpretation and wishes; they are not independently measured results, diagnoses, or commitments made by Mira. There is no additional clarification answer hidden elsewhere.
U1. I find it useful to turn an unclear label into an example that people can discuss. The Beacon feedback fits that strength. I want to describe my contribution as making the review concrete, without claiming I owned the whole project or changed the whole team's performance.
U2. I am disappointed that I left the third session's examples too late. I underestimated the preparation and did not meet my commitment. My lesson is that preparing a review needs its own piece of work; booking a discussion does not make the examples ready. This is my interpretation of what happened. I have not tested a different preparation method yet.
U3. Next period I want to draft one packet with two contrasting examples and ask Mira to review it before I propose another session. I would like one guided practice in preparing the packet. I do not know whether Mira can provide that support. I am not agreeing a date or committing anyone else's time here.
U4. For our discussion, I want to ask whether Mira has any separate documented Atlas usage or timing evidence outside this packet, and whether she can review my proposed example packet. I have no answers yet. If there is no additional effect evidence, keep my self-assessment limited to the accepted cards and the review observations. Please use ordinary words; I have not said I became a confident presenter or identified a personal fear to overcome.
Missing information and action boundary
No further Atlas or Beacon effect measurements, replacement session agreement, next-period support commitment, or answers to U4 are supplied. The self-assessment can be complete while making those limits visible. Prepare questions where appropriate; do not fabricate the writer's feelings, a manager response, a new rating or an outcome measurement. No message, meeting invitation or self-assessment submission is authorized by this teaching packet.
